Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri left here Monday for a visit to the Ugandan capital Kampala for a visit aimed at consulting with the brothers in the Nile Basin countries and boosting bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Uganda.
On Tuesday, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri will deliver a letter from President Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on developments in cooperation in the water issue between the Nile Basin Initiative member countries and the efforts of Uganda to achieve consensus among the Nile Basin countries under the current Uganda presidency. Of the Nile Basin Initiative Ministerial Council, including the Ugandan initiative for a summit of the Nile Basin countries.
